A holistic lifestyle may produce numerous health benefits. The holistic approach looks at the whole person’s well-being and not just symptoms they may be having. The physical, emotional, mental, social, and spirituality of the individual will be examined. When one area is struggling, it will cause an imbalance in other areas. An example would be if someone has a migraine. They present with pain, but that pain could be triggered by emotional stress that needs to be figured out in order for the pain to subside. They could take Advil, but that would only mask the symptom and not find the problem. It takes time and patience to find the root cause of certain conditions, but it is worth it to feel well, balanced, and whole.
