There are preventative practices we can incorporate in our lives to promote optimal health. We may take steps to manage our stress. For some, this could include getting out in nature, meditating, breathwork, or engaging in a task that brings us joy. Getting enough sleep is important for good health. Resting during the day when our body tells us it is tired is also important.
Exercise should be included to encourage a healthy body. Exercise may look different to each person. 30 minutes of movement through the course of the day is an excellent place to start, even if it is broken up. We also need to engage in a nourishing diet. If you have food allergies or intolerances, work at eliminating these foods. Include fruits and vegetables, trying for organic foods when possible. We need to give our body the foods that it can absorb so we are gaining the most benefits from the food.
