Clearing the heart chakra involves loving oneself. We can open the chakra by practicing self-loving affirmations. It isn’t always easy to talk kindly to ourselves. We need to love ourselves and accept ourselves as who we are. We can also forgive the things that have happened to use. It releases trauma. We don’t have to be okay with what has taken place, but we can forgive the fact they’ve happened so we as individuals can move forward in life. It’s also okay to feel compassion for humanity. It’s okay to feel what you want and need to for those around you. It doesn’t make you too sensitive, it doesn’t mean you need thicker skin. It means you accept yourself as being empathetic and that’s completely okay and acceptable.
