Fibromyalgia is a disorder where an individual has widespread pain. It may cause fatigue, sleep issues, memory problems, and changes in mood. It may cause depression and anxiety. The body may have stiffness, pain, or tenderness. For some, fibromyalgia is debiliating.

We can use herbs and supplements to try to counter the pain and provide relief for fibromyalgia. Calendula, rosemary oil, cayenne, and ginger powder may be used topically to relieve soreness and tenderness. Ginger powder may be added to a bath to soak. Burdock root, dandelion, and red clover teas all contain antioxidants which help remove oxidative stress from the body. Burdock root also removes toxins from the blood and helps with circulation.
