Lemon balm increases the amount of GABA in the brain. By doing this, it helps to regulate moods. The eugenol found in the plant helps to calm muscle spasms. Some studies have shown it can improve cognitive function.

Mistletoe is a nervine. It is used to help strengthen the nervous system. It lowers levels of the stress hormone, cortisol, relaxes the nerves. It has many chemical compounds that help mistletoe to help against epilepsy and depression. It has the ability to help with Alzheimer’s disease.

Oats contain choline, an important neurotransmitter the body needs to help with memory function. Oats also have other nutritional value that help to reduce anxiety, prevent depression, and helps maintain a healthy nervous system.
