Chakras

Our chakras are connected to endocrine glands. The crown chakra is connected to the pineal gland. The third eye is associated with the pituitary gland. Our throat is linked to the thyroid. The heart chakra is connected to the thymus. The solar plexus is tied to the pacreas. The sacral chakra is connected to the reproductive organs, the ovaries and the testes. The root at the base of our spine is connected to the adrenals.

The chakras and their link with the endocrine glands help them to govern certain areas of the body. The crown governs the upper brain and right eye while the third eye governs the lower brain, left eye, and the ears, nose, and nervous system. The throat chakra is linked to the lungs and the throat, mouth, and neck regions. The heart chakra is responsible for the heart, blood, vagus nerve, and circulatory system. The solar plexus, found in the stomach region, governs the stomach, liver, gallbladder, and nervous system. It also oversee the digestive system. The sacral chakra is connected to the reproductive system. The root is connected to the spinal column and kidneys.

When we focus on the energy flow of the chakras through our body, we are helping to prevent illnesses and keep our organs functioning as they are meant to.
