Chia seeds are edible seeds part of a flowering plant in the mint family. Chia seed are considered a superfood due to their rich nutritional profile. They have numerous health benefits. 

Chia seeds are packed with essential nutrients like omega-3 fatty acids, fiber, protein, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, and antioxidants. Omega-3 fatty acids are crucial for brain health and development. Consuming chia seeds may help enhance cognitive function, memory, and focus. The high fiber content in chia seeds promotes healthy digestion, prevents constipation, and supports regular bowel movements. Chia seeds absorb liquid and expand in the stomach, promoting a feeling of fullness and reducing appetite. This can aid in weight management by controlling food intake.
