“Do not be angry” is one of the five Reiki principles. It is important to understand you aren’t to push away the anger or pretend it doesn’t exist. Some see anger as a negative emotion. It is a normal emotion. You need to be able to feel what you need to feel. And then let it go. Holding on to anger will drain you. Like attracts like. The more you focus on the anger, you’ll bring more anger to you. It will cloud your mind space. It’s okay to get angry, but don’t stay there. Whatever caused the anger has passed. Let it go so you can move forward. It helps to keep this mind frame for any emotion that doesn’t serve the greatest good and will keep you from moving forward.
