Herbs for the Digestion System

There are different herbs for digestion system. These herbs will have different functions. Some will soothe the digestive tract. Others will relieve constipation or ease diarrhea.

It helps reduce cramping, gas, and bloating. The compounds in Goldenseal may help to kill bacteria that cause diarrhea, yeast infections, and parasites.

Licorice soothes the intestinal lining by increasing mucus producting. It also increases blood supply to the stomach to increase healing. Marshmallow creates a protective barrier in the intestines, building the integrity of the gut lining. Wormwood is good for stimulating digestion. It also relaxes spasms in the intestinal tract.
