Neem is a type of tree and the leaves are used for medicinal benefits. It boosts the immune system while trying to cool down the body internally. It also has blood-purifying properties.

Elderberry is an excellent herb to start taking at the first signs of respiratory illness as it can decrease the severity and length of the illness. When taken routinely, elderberry may also help keep the immune system strong and assist in keeping the body healthy. It is packed with antioxidants and vitamins. Echinacea helps to stimulate macrophages and other cells to help boost the immune system. It contains immunomodulatory agents that help to protect the immune system.

The use of these herbs can prove to be beneficial in helping the immune system to fight off illnesses. As with anything new, it’s a good idea to speak with your physician first.
