There are numerous medicinal plants of Pennsylvania. I’ve included a few I’ve found of interest.

Elderberry may help with colds and illness because of it’s antibacterial and antiviral properties. This flowering plant has been said to have antidepressant, anti-tumor, and hypoglycemic properties.

Lavender is a flowering plant that may be ingested or used in aromatherapy. It may help to relieve stress and anxiety. It has a calming effect that may lower blood pressure.
