Music has the ability to reduce anxiety, blood pressure, and pain. It can boost the mood, help with better sleep quality, and improve alertness and memory.

Music is capable of relaxing the nervous system and lower cortisol levels. It stressful situations, it can help calm anxiety. Depression symptoms may be used through listening to music. It benefits our mental and physical health.

Listening to music may help in a faster recovery after a stressful event. More studies need to be conducted, but ones so far show that music does have the ability to decrease the psychobiological responses and triggers the brain to reduce stress.
