Dear Wonderful Wife,
Our life together is a blessing. It is amazing when you think of where we started and where we are today. It is a wonderful feeling being married to someone who started as my best friend. We’ve had more than our share of struggles, but we have made it through each and every one. We have made it through people trying to think they have a say in our relationship. We have made it through hard times, sickness, and surgeries. Each day I am thankful to have you by my side. Each day I am thankful for how you love me. Each day I am thankful I get to wake up and love you another day. I love the every day things we do that so many couples take for granted. Cooking together. Watching tv together. Planting flowers together. Our routines before I head out the door and our routines before we close our eyes for the night. I also love that I have watched you gain your strength, self-worth, and confidence. I love that you have learned that there are evil people out there who say and do awful things and that is direct reflection of who they are and has nothing at all to do with the person you are. They never deserved someone as wonderful as you in their lives. They took you for granted. I never will. I will never take for granted your kind, loving heart and soul. You are a true treasure to me and I will make sure you know how much you mean to me. I never knew how great love could feel, but I never knew love until you. I never knew what it was to be loved, respected, wanted and needed until you. You’ve helped me to gain my own self-worth and confidence. You’ve shown me I’m enough for you by being me. I thank God for you every day. You’re exactly what I prayed for to come into my life. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for making me the luckiest person in the world by giving me your heart and marrying me.
